Ascend2Wisdom is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Before newsletter signup is activated, the founder’s contact email will be added here and to every newsletter.

Information collected

When you join the newsletter, we collect your email address and the consent information needed to show when and how you subscribed. If the signup form offers an optional name field, you may leave it blank.

Why it is used

Your information is used only to confirm your subscription, send the weekly Ascend2Wisdom newsletter, manage your preferences, keep the list accurate, and meet legal obligations. The lawful basis for sending the newsletter is your consent.

Who processes it

Brevo provides the subscription form, contact database and email delivery service. It processes subscriber information on behalf of Ascend2Wisdom under its data-processing terms. We do not sell the subscriber list.

How long it is kept

Your active subscription information is kept while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, the address may be retained on a suppression list so that it is not accidentally added back or emailed again. Consent records may be retained where needed to demonstrate compliance.

Your choices and rights

You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter. You may also ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a copy of your personal information, where those rights apply. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office if you believe your information has been mishandled.

Security

Subscriber addresses are kept in the newsletter service rather than in public website files. Access to the service will be protected with a unique password and multi-factor authentication. Sending credentials will never be placed in the website’s HTML.

The free planner

Activities, completion records and weekly reflections are saved in your current browser on your device. They are not sent to Ascend2Wisdom or Brevo by the planner. Anyone using the same browser profile may see them. Clearing browser data can remove them. Exported backups contain your entries; keep these files private. There is no account, payment requirement or automatic synchronisation between devices.
